My story
I'm a lover of crime novels, and have loved books since I found Borders in Leicester and got comfy with a brew. The urge to write finally came out on a longhaul flight from China; I woke up and scribbled the plot that became Killing Time on a notebook.
Many iterations and a period of furlough later, and Killing Time was published in December 2020.

My second novel, Last Man Standing will be published in March 2024. I am currently working on some new ideas, with the dark winter months always providing a perfect time to write.

Projects
"Killing Time" on furlough.
My debut novel; Killing Time was published in December 2020 and was an exceptionally rewarding process. I was able to use a furlough period to complete my novel, with the proofreading and design stages being completed during the first lockdown.
"Last Man Standing" - second novel.
My second novel, Last Man Standing was completed in 2023, and will be published in March 2024. Typesetting and cover design is ongoing.
My writing was more sporadic during the summer, but with the winter months upon us I am writing more regularly.
Physical health
Writing has allowed my mind to find new places, and to appreciate books in new ways. I've also needed a balance. Training (for the London Triathlon and the London Marathon in 2022) has kept me physically fit and allowed my mind to process ideas while my body works. Writing then becomes my output while my body rests. A perfect contrast.
